Customizing the Leave requests app

Hi guys,

I work for a small organization of 10 staff, I recently started fiddling around with PowerApps. We found that Leave Requests were a good point to start.
However, I noticed that when i create the app from a template like Leave Requests, it actually doesn't allow me to customize the leave types, we have a list of about 12 different leave types and a bunch of holidays. But i cant seemed to edit the table for leavetype collection table. Furthurmore i cannot locate the table within the dataverse tables. Whats the correct way to edit those ?

Looking for guidance. i've added screenshots for clarity.

Thanks in advance

    Hello IT-28070444-0

In this example app, there are Collections that are created in the "OnStart" property of the app. You can modify these by selecting the "App" and then the "OnStart" property, and modifying the related records in the Table:
//add custom leave types to this collection to make them show up in the app
        ClearCollect(
        LeaveTypeCollection,
            Table(
                    {
                        type:"Vacation",
                        icon:vacation,
                        iconselected:'vacation-selected',
                        description:
"Vacation leave is provided to all employees for the purpose of rest, relaxation, and to attend to personal affairs. Vacation balance is acquired over time and can be used at any time."
                    }, [...]

This will allow you to make custom Leave Types as you need. Also you can modify the other collections you see there.

    Hope it helps,
    Kalel
