Predict Future Outcomes: Linear Regression?

I am using AI Builder's Prediction tool (Predict Future Outcomes with Historical Data). What kind of regression does this built-in model use? Is it linear regression? Would love to learn more insight into how the predictions are calculated if anyone has any insight.
