PostgreSQL Connection not returning Views or Tables

I added a PostgreSQL connection successfully using an On-Prem Data Gateway. When I try to add the connection to a new app, it gives me only one choice for a dataset which is labeled `default`.

When I click on `default` it moves to the `Choose a Table` panel and then brings up the following error very quickly (no processing time at all):Capture.JPG

Since the PostgreSQL connector is in Preview this is probably just the default error (which happens to be Excel).

PGAdmin finds many tables (none of which I have access to) and many views for which I do have access to query.

Can I pass in a query and skip the table selection step like in PowerPivot?

I have NPGSQL installed as well as an ODBC Driver.

    Hi @JohnDonnelly,

Based on what I know, that should be not available, at least currently.

For PowerApps, currenlty it is only available to query from the actual table, not from views.

There is a new feature for Common Data Service, which have the Power Query available to use:

Create new entities in the Common Data Service (CDS) using Power Query

Besides, there are ideas submitted on this:

    Power Query within the PowerApps

    Regards,

    Michael
