Hi,

I am trying to experience the new PowerApp reusable Functions in Dataverse Invoke a function using Power Platform - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

While following the instruction, I was able to create my function fine, however, when I tried to invoke the function from inside a PowerApp, I stuck in this step:

In Power Apps Studio:
  1. Create or edit a canvas app or custom page in Power Apps Studio.
  2. On the left navigation pane, under the Data Sources tab, select Add data, and search for the Environment option from the Dataverse connector, and select it.

My existing PowerApp (This app was created few years ago) cannot find "Environment" from Data Source.

However, when I create a brand new PowerApp and do the same, I was able to find the "Environment" from the data source fine

Have anyone experience the same issue? did I miss something from my old app?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion

Is Dataverse already added as a Data source in the old app. If so you would now be adding tables not readding the data source.

hi @CU22041824-0, I've tested with my old version app (created 2years ago but never been use) and I've noticed the same problem. There are no Environment table dataverse. But after playing around with the application Setting > Updates > New > Experimental > Retired, I just simply turn on / off randomly and save the app, and when I open it back again the "Environment" appears. I have no idea how to, but you can try.

I found that the act of adding a new app to an environment will generate the Environment table. So, just create a blank app in the environment where you use your app, and the table will become available.
