Synapse Link with Storage account networking

Has anyone had to setup Synapse Link and use a storage account that does not allow traffic from all public networks?

As far as Storage account configuration goes:

  1. PowerApps isn't on the trusted Azure services (nor would I expect it to be).
  2. Storage accounts can have a max of 200 IP address in its allow list and the list of the Azure IP Addresses for PowerPlatformInfra is 1100 IPs and ranges Download Azure IP Ranges and Service Tags – Public Cloud from Official Microsoft Download Center
  3. I've also tried the Region Specific PowerPlatformInfra IP addresses and I still can't connect Synapse Link to my storage account. 

Anyone gotten this to work without putting their storage account out there on all networks?

    @JeffCarma - As of today (11-Oct), this is not possible.

     

    Currently, you can't provide public IPs for the Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse service that can be used in Azure Data Lake firewall settings. Public IP network rules have no effect on requests originating from the same Azure region as the storage account. Services deployed in the same region as the storage account use private Azure IP addresses for communication. Thus, you can't restrict access to specific Azure services based on their public outbound IP address range. More information: Configure Azure Storage firewalls and virtual networks

     

    You cannot lock down via Resource instance rules either.
