Hi,
We are planning to build and deploy a Powerapps to Teams Store with a subscription plan. To administer the subscriptions we will need an integration with our subscription server and this will require a custom API connector or a premium SQL Server connector etc. And if i am gonna use a premium SQL connector , then i can keep all users application data on cloud and maybe in the future , develop an outlook add-in etc to support the app.
So my question is about the licensing issues;
If i use a premium connector , how the licensing works?
My developers must have a premium Powerapps plan , thats for sure but what about the users that discover the app on Teams Store?
Do they need premium licensing to use the app?
Thanks in advance
Sadly the documentation we have reached clearly states that there is no possible way that an application developed by Power Platform could be published to Teams Store for general use. Applications developed by Power Platform only usable within the organization that the app has been created.
So if your application requires premium connectors , your users within the organization must have premium licenses.
