Pull content from dataverse and power pages

I have a public facing power pages site with a table that consists of Question and Answer pairs that is in the dataverse. I used the new AI capabilities to pointed it to the site and the bot doesn't seem to pick up on the questions/respond based off them. The feature is in preview however works well for other sites i.e. custom web pages with html content where data is not in the dataverse. Do I need to build a flow that will store the question as a variable and search the dataverse and if the question is found then reply with the answer pair? Or could this work better/more seamlessly through AI just like other web pages are today. There used to be the suggested topics feature that would pull out the QnA pairs from any page earlier but it doesn't exist anymore likely because of the generative AI being overall more superior. Would appreciate the team's responses/any insights please. thanks!

Adding an AI-powered chatbot to a Power Pages site, creates a PVA chatbot with a Generative Answers node which points at the site's URL. This allows the bot to respond to user questions based on site content that is indexed by Bing (see here), but not based on content stored in Dataverse, even though Power Pages sites are connected to Dataverse.

Based on the image you've shared; it seems like you've set up a page exposing all those questions and answers publicly. I don't know how Bing will treat this content, but you can try searching Bing with the "site:" operator and find out whether the relevant content comes up on a search.

That being said, to provide a more consistent experience for your site's users, I would suggest treating Dataverse as a custom data source, which can be added to the Generative Answers node. You would need to set up a Power Automate flow which would call Dataverse search, and then you should format the results in PVA before you feed them into the Generative Answers node.

When an AI-powered bot is added to a Power Pages site, the Generative Answers node will be found under the "Conversational Boosting" topic which is created automatically (see below).

Otherwise, when it becomes available, you could use a more native approach to provide Gen Answers on Dataverse content.
