hi all,

i've developped a canvas app that permit to search datas stored on a database.

I have a text field that permit to search establishments based on the establishment name.

I'm trying to search establishment name that contain the characters i've filled in a text field in a way that he separate each space between characters as new word.

I'll give an exemple :
Suppose the establishment in the database is named "CHU DE NANTES".
By using the Search function, i must fill in the text field "CHU" or "CHU DE" or "DE NANTES" or "NANTES". But i will not be able to find it if a fill "CHU NANTES".

What i want is to be able to find "CHU DE NANTES" if i'm writting  on a text field "CHU NANTES".

Is it possible ?

Thx for your help

    Hi @jd38,
    Possible but may not be Delegable depending on your data source type.
    With(
       {
          _Data:
          Split(
             YourTextInput.Text,
             " "
          )
       },
       Ungroup(
          ForAll(
             _Data As _D,
             Filter(
                DataSource,
                _D.Value in Establishment
             )
          ),
          Value
       )
    )

    Hi @jd38

    When you say that the data is stored in a database, what database are you using?

    If it's SQL Server for example, you could do this in a delegable way by calling a stored procedure that queries the table based on a full text index search.

    @WarrenBelz and timl (can't find your profil)

    the data source is a powerbi dataset. i'm using the function "Powerbi.executedatasetquery".

    If what I posted does not work, I will leave you withtiml as I do not use PowerBI Integration.
