Dataverse Power Automate Flow

I am trying to create a flow that sends an approval to the row owners manager. The user pulls their name from our Active Directory into the Dataverse form. I have managers assigned to each user in our AD. So if John submits a request and Nancy is his manager, I want Nancy's email to be populated in the assigned to field. 

 

Can anyone advise/ let me know if this is possible?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

    If the Manager is not in DataVerse, then you would probably need to use the Graph API (via HTTP connector) to query AD to get their email address etc https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/53583.power-automate-flow-calling-ms-graph-api.aspx

    If anyone in the future needs help with this I was able to fix my flow. I had to add data to the manager field in my 365 active directory. Once that was done this flow ran successfully. 

     

    For the compose step, you have to use the formatted value to get the actual text instead of the static value of a dynamic field. 

    ['body/_FieldName_value@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue']"
