Hello!

Actually, I have created one app using PowerApps which has Excel table as one of the data source and when I shared this app with external users who do not belongs to our tenant. On opening the app, it is working fine but screen where this excel table comes into picture there it is throwing an error: "Error when trying to retrieve data from the network: Item not found".

I have already shared that excel file with external user and external user opened that file as well but still this error is appearing.

Please help me resolving this issue.

Thank You in advance for reading my issue and putting your brain in solving this.

These steps should help you resolve the issue with your PowerApps.

    1. Check Sharing Permissions:

    • Make sure you have shared the Excel file with the external user correctly. They need permission to view or edit the file.

    2. Verify Data Connections:

    • In PowerApps, go to the Data section and make sure the connection to the Excel file is set up correctly. Sometimes you need to sign in again to refresh the connection.

    3. Test File Access:

    • Ask the external user to open the Excel file directly in their browser to make sure they can access it without problems.

    4. Re-share the App:

    • In PowerApps, check if the external user is listed as someone you’ve shared the app with. If needed, remove them, and add them again to reset permissions.
