Our bot is deployed to Teams channel and we noticed that Conversation Start system topic started failing. When added to Teams, the bot immediately tries to escalate. There were no changes made to this system topic and it works correctly when testing the bot with the direct line channel.
Tested this with a brand new bot to check if issue was the same and it worked correctly the first time it was added to the Teams client but when removing it and trying to add again, the Conversation Start topic is not triggered at all. Anyone else with the same issue?
hi @inzil2k sounds like a bug buddy
I'm having this exact issue. First time install, it works. then after deleting and reinstalling, it no longer sends the conversation starts message. did you find a fix?
Great that you think it is a bug, but how do you fix it? I have the same problem - 've added a new topic and it tests perfectly. But out in Team my Copilot can't recognise any of the trigger phrases and escalates to Agent in two attempts. I've checked for errors in the topic - there are none. I've restarted my computer. I've deleted the Copilot Chat and reinstalled it. What's wrong here?
I too had the same problem.I tried using the End conversation and Reset conversation topics, but it didn't solve the problem. I think I called the end conversation topic but it didn't work properly. Has anyone solved this problem?
