Adding canvas app control to model driven app form in maker portal

When I create a canvas app (or add a canvas app) in a model driven app form in the maker portal (using https://make.powerapps.com) it does not seem to add the modeldrivenformintegration control in the canvas app. This however works perfectly when I use the classic editor. Is this a known issue?

    Hi @jopx 

    The way to add an embedded canvas app into a model driven form is to use the fields dialog in the classic designer. That's the only way to correctly create a canvas app that contains the model driven form integration control.
