I'm using a Power Automate flow that sends a message to a Teams channel through the chatbot. It turns out that all messages sent by other people through the bot arrive in the teams channel always with my username, as I own the bot. How to make the messages arrive in the name of each person who sent them?
Hi @KayserPinheiro
I guess you are using the the Microsoft Teams action to send an adaptive card as a flow bot, correct?
What trigger does your flow use?
If you are using an automated flow, the flow runs in the context of the owner of the flow. If you are using an instant flow I will use the credentials of each user.
Does this help you? Otherwise please give me some more information.Best regardsMarvinIf you like this post, give a Thumbs up. If it solved your request, Mark it as a Solution to enable other users to find it.Blog: Cloudkumpel
Hi @MarvinBangert,
I am using a Power Automate flow within a PowerVirtual Manager topic. I use a Microsoft Teams connector for the bot to send the user's request to a private channel. It turns out that when configuring the connector I need to inform the Teams account and not all messages keep arriving in the name of that account, but I would like it to arrive in the name of the person using the bot. I managed to do this through an outlook connector to send email using the UserDisplayName variable, but for sending messages to the Teams channel I haven't found the solution yet.
