Calling an action does not seem to do anything?

When I call an action, which creates a flow, such as sending an email, posting a message to a Teams channel.

I save the action, click the back arrow and the flow is not there? See attached screenshots.

I expect to see it appear below the `+` sign where I am connecting it to?

Any ideas where I may be going wrong? This is the first time I have used copilot studio.

Thanks

Mike

    Hello Sir,

I am stuck at the same situation. As you have mentioned to create Return Value(s) to PVA, I did the same and the flow still does not show up. Could you please help.

    Hi @MikeDent,

To be able to select your flow it has to start and end with two specific actions:

    - When Microsoft Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents) calls a flow (first action)

    - Return value(s) to Microsoft Copilot Studio (last action)

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/advanced-flow-create

If you don't use those actions it won't show up/you cannot connect to it.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

Sadly when I search it does not find it?

    Hi @MikeDent,

If it hasn't added the saved flow automatically to your topic, you should also be able to look it up instead afterwards.

    1. Find the name of your saved flow

    2. Search for it in the call an action dialog and add it as an existing flow instead.
