Changing organization theme won't change the colors

Hi all,

I am attempting to change the theme colors of my model-driven apps and am doing it through the 'Advanced Settings" > Customization > Themes menu as the Microsoft guide says, and I cloned the default theme, changed my colors, and published so it is set as default. However my apps are not reflecting the color changes. Adding a logo works, that appears just fine, but the colors don't change, so is there a newer way to update the colors of themes instead of this legacy way?

I have the same question (0)

Hello @cah2035, usually this works - have you published the changes you have made to the colors? Are no color updates reflected at all?

Hello, I have published, but with no success. The logo appears, so publishing is clearly working but the colors will not update. Is there a specific way to do this for the unified interface? My environment is using the Power Apps purple color header and I am not even sure where that is defined because it is not set through the "Advanced Settings > Customization > Themes" since the default there is blue.

The below image is what it currently looks like. You can see the share button there is blue and I want to change that, but applying a different color these through the dynamics customization does not change it.

    Hello @cah2035,

From your screenshot it looks like you have activated the preview Look & Feel for your model-driven app, is that correct?

I tried enabling this in one of our environments, and I now have the same situation: colors set in the theme are not applied in my model-driven apps. According to the documentation, there is currently no way to set the header color yet: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/user/modern-fluent-design?WT.mc_id=powerapps_inproduct_makerportal#known-limitations
