Hi,

What type permissions do i need to provide for users within organization to access Canvas app along with Common Data Service( CDS) entities for Create/View/Update/Delete records. While am trying to provide "Common Data Service user" role it is giving an error below.

Users are getting added to the APP but while adding data permissions, it is giving an error.

Error: Failed to create the following users{"objectId":"3f8171d7-a1ba-4cf0-8745-daf35c0102d5"}

    Hello Vamshi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I had a look through the error message and I understand that we want to share the App with multiple users . For the same we would want to ensure theses users have appropriate PowerApp licenses .

    Now I see we are receiving the error message for the Data permisisons. This can happen if the users havent been given appropriate security roles in the Default organization

    I would request you to please access your Default CRM organization --access the users -- Give them the security roles which has the CRUD privileges for the entities . https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/share-app - In this you can refer the Data permissions section .

    Giving users security roles in CDS organizations https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/database-security

    Please do let me know if the above works or if you have any other questions.

    Once you have applied the security roles we should not see the error
    If the issue still exists then I would suggest you to raise a request with MS support to get further assistance .

    Please mark my answer as verified if you found it helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions around the above.
