I have recently starting to build a report and i am finding that if I try to save the app changes to one drive it drops connections. if i save to local drive it is fine? All seems connected but it just says no data connections, heading and title are fine. Can you assist please as it is very frustrating

Do you have the OneDrive for Mac client installed?
If yes, could you please take a check to see if the sync would work?
Besides, please check to see if the OneDrive has been blocked with Firewall:

Further, wihin PowerApps, there is function available to check the connection status:
If(Connection.Connected=true, "Connected","No Connection")
