Customizing Power Apps Form for SharePoint List Not Deploying Immediately

I'm facing to an issue with customizing SharePoint forms using Power Apps. After publishing my custom form multiple times, the changes are not reflected immediately in SharePoint.

Here's what I've done and observed:

Form settings: The form is set to be the customized form.
Power Apps preview: I can see the live version in Power Apps, and the weblink and QR code work as expected.
SharePoint behavior: When I click "New Item" in the SharePoint list, the standard form is displayed instead of the customized one.
Delay in deployment: After approximately 1-2 weeks, the customized form suddenly appears in the SharePoint list. This same issue occurred when I customized another list.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have any ideas on what might be causing this delay and how to resolve it? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

hey @Zhao

sometimes this can take a while until its deployed. i have never seen such a long time like u mentioned (1-2 weeks).

what helps is clearing cache and reload the page a few times. this has always helped for me.

now i do not customize the form anymore because in my point of view you have more issues than joy with it.

consider to build an app next time 🙂

Hi mmbr1606,
clearing cache and reload the page don't work. I don't think it is issue with cache. Other users with different web browsers can't see the custmized form. I have waited one week, always no change. I'm not sure, is it general issue for all or it is just special issue in our environment?

I have a update for my issue. If I change to SharePoint classic experience, the custom form can be displayed if I click add new item. After stop the classic experience, I can only use the stardard form. I must wait approximately 2 weeks, then the custom form can be show also in modern experience, very strange. Is it a bug?

do you mean by modern experience the modern controls in powerapps? if yes i would for now only stick to the classic controls because modern ones are mostly still in preview and can be buggy at times.

no, I mean the SharePoint classic view. my custom form works with classic view. If I use standard modern view, just standard form will be displayed. But after 2 weeks it will be ok with both experience.

has anybody idea for this issue? I face always the same problem. Via Power Apps customized list form will just be deloyed for classic SharePoint Look & Feel, but not for modern. Is es an bug?
