Hi everyone, I just started working for a small company and was asked to create a job application app using Microsoft Power Platform. I recently got my certification in Power Platform and want to use Power Apps to showcase my skills. This is my first-ever project, and I'm looking for guidance.
The app should allow job applicants to:
- Submit their applications via a form.
- Save and manage submitted data for review by the HR team.
- Potentially include an onboarding section as the next phase.
I've explored Power Apps and know how to create forms using galleries, but I'm unsure how to make the app accessible to external applicants and ensure smooth data management. I'd like advice on the best practices to implement this app.
- What is the best way to make the form accessible to external users who don’t have access to my company's environment?
- I plan on using Sharepoint, but open to considering Dataverse. (sharepoint over Dataverse due to cost)
- Are there resources or templates available that can help with this type of app?
- How can I integrate the app with an onboarding process in the future?
