I have been trying to connect to an API by creating a custom connector but wevery time I try to create the connection i get this error in red at the top of the screen.

Failed to download original Swagger file of the custom connector.

I have tried via uploading a swagger file and linking to the address of a definition.

It loads the definition and displays correctly but when I click the 'Create Connection' tick button this error appears.

It then seems to create the connector with no definition.

Hi SimonMeadows,

Have you seen this documentation about “Register and use custom connectors in PowerApps”? please follow the steps in this doc and try again to see if you will still get the same error.

Hi Mabel,

I have seen the documentationbut cannot get it to work.

I have followed it multiple times but every time I get to 'Register your custom connector' section 6 the same thing happens.
It creates the connectopr then the error pops up and all of the definition is empty.
If I close and re-open the saved connector I get the error again and the definition is empty.

I can however create a connector using the 'API Definition (preview)' option on an azure function app.

Hi SimonMeadows,

How large the file size is? Your file size should be less than 1 MB, please check the file size on your side.

All files are less than 1MB

The one I have been testing with is less than 10KB
