Hi,
I've always been able to upload documents without any problems, but since yesterday I keep getting the same error message saying something like "Indexing failed" (See screenshot below, it's in german tho).
The content of the documents is more or less the same as before, no other data types or anything.
Any Idea where this could be coming from? or anyone with the same problem?
thanks in advance!
Hi @Nicolas2705, I ran into something similar and the problem was that I still had the document open locally on my PC (in the local OneDrive folder). Could it be something as simple as that?
I have the same problem for a few days now. Previously, documents were uploading and indexing very fast and smoothly in the same Copilot that now fails.
However, I am finding that if I keep the documents uploaded with the error, they automatically retry indexing attempts and sometimes finish correctly. Today, for example, I have seen that a document that ended in error yesterday is now OK.
Regarding the document already being open, I have not noticed that this causes the error. Also, the process seems to be done in 2 steps: first, the document is uploaded to the platform correctly; second, the indexing process is started and then the error occurs.
I am using Copilot Studio with a Trial license, could it be related to this?
Thanks!
Hello, I have the same problem for several days.
Confirmed with a second file. As I mentioned in my previous response, if the file is kept uploaded without deleting it after the indexing error occurs, it eventually appears as Ok status. I cannot confirm how long it takes at the moment, but it seems that Copilot Studio retries the reindexing until it is completed correctly.
The error message indicates that the file should be deleted and re-uploaded. After several attempts with errors, I decided to keep it.
Can anyone else confirm this behavior?
After reading your comment I left it even though it continued to give errors. And after 2 or 3 hours, it worked.Thank you very much JotaXenixES
