Offline Videos with Power Apps Mobile

Hi,

I am building a Mobile Canvas App that need offline capabilities (Not Dataverse).
I am using Collections, SaveData and LoadData. This is working great so far for Text and I am using Base64 for the images.

I am having really trouble with Videos.
I need to find a way for a user to be able to make a video available offline, without leaving the app.

The videos are stored in a SharePoint library and related to a record.

In the Gallery they click a button on an item to make it available offline.

Any ideas that I can try will be really appreciated.

Hi @CU02052136-0,

Quite simply, you cannot access a SharePoint file offline, however you can add the videos to the Media of your app. Bear in mind that there are going to be significant performance issues if these are large files.

It may be technically possible to convert videos to Base64 and use SaveData, however this would only work effectively on very small videos.
