Suggest Topic (CSV and XLSX format)

Hi,

In Power Virtual Agent, 'Suggest Topic' option allows us to add online CSV or XLSX file. However, I could not figure out what is the CSV format or XLSX. Any working sample?

I tried adding a CSV file with 2 columns, and it failed. The error message is 'We couldn't get suggestions. Try adding support or FAQ content.'

CSV Example,

"insurance type","We have Life, Medical and Term insurance"
"benefit","Yearly dividend, life protection"
"location","Damansara Heights"

I have the same question (0)

    Hello @lcp2021

These docs explain the requirements for the files:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-virtual-agents/advanced-create-topics-from-web#prerequisites

Here is a snippet of the requirements:

    Important

    • The URLs must be secure (they must start with https://).
    • The URLs must be publicly available, that is, they can't need a user to log in.
    • For online files, we do not support file upload. You must provide the full URL to the location of the file, including the file extension, as in the example https://www.microsoft.com/thisisafile.pdf.
    • For online files, we currently support PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT files and 2-column formats in TSV, XLSX (first sheet only), and CSV. The file extension must be included in the URL.

So how can I account for Q&A that is published for our enterprise application. The Q&A certainly requires login, yet this is the only way to import topics? This seems like a big gap - if this is the only way to import Q&A as Topics. But I guess that publishing a page that is private, but publically accessible by Link is acceptable, as it could be published for a matter of minutes.

Is there a free website out there where we could upload a csv with our Topics and then just point it to there so we can load it and then delete the csv file from the website; we only need a dumping ground to get our topics showing on PVA.
