Hi Community,

I am running into a strange issue while creating a task from a Model Driven App. it fails with message you must have a dynamics 365 license assigned and i have correct licenses assigned.

Note: Creation of Notes/Emails / Phone calls is working

Any feedback ?

    @v-bofeng-msft

    The issue was that there was service account whose configuration was Read-Write ( License has been revoked from this user) and a sync workflow was running on Task creation with this user so that's why this error was thrown.

    So changing the user to Non-Interactive got this issue fixed.

    Thanks for your Help!

    Hi @Mira_Ghaly :

    When you modify the ‘Task’ entity, did the app pop up the promotion of "you must have a dynamics 365 license assigned"?

    This may be related to the permissions of your current security role(like Environment Admin/System Administrator……or a custom security role). Please ask the admin to assign you a higher security role and then confirm whether the problem has been resolved.

    I think these links will help you a lot:
