Filtering a Sharepoint list result in a different value

Hi there.

I have a flow where from PVA I am passing my email and a quote number.

the quote number format is a text like this 042922-231

But in my flow I am getting the quote number a different value. Could be the dash "-" the bad guy?

Just to clarify I am getting the same exact value from the bot 050422-953. But if I go to edit the bot it works

    Hey there @sajarac,

Is the image in the original post your entire Power Automate flow? If not, could you post a screenshot of the entire flow? It will be much easier to troubleshoot and sort out what may potentially be going on if we can get that information.

    Hi @SupportBryn ,

    Here is my flow.

The weird thing is testing the bot like in edit mode the "QuoteNumber" text pass correctly. But once I have published the bot I get the totally different value.

Could I ask you to open up those closed cards as well? We need to be able to see the full activities of what's going on. If you wish to keep certain potentially personal details of the test environment redacted, that's not a problem, but we need to at least be able to see stuff like the Dynamic Data in order to start looking into issues.

Alright, thanks! As a first step, I notice that you are filtering your query through the SharePoint connector. There could be a potential conflict there, so would it be possible to see if the method for filtering done here in this thread may better serve you? They separate the SharePoint list grabbing step and the Array Filtering step, which may allow us to better sort exactly where things are going wrong. I have one other suspicion, which may be that you are filtering by Title, rather than Name, which may be causing it to grab the wrong records, as they are both distinct Properties of a SharePoint entry. If you could test both of those changes and let me know if either solves your current dilemma, that would be great!

OK, I will do it but Title is the name of my Share Point Column

For the sake of clarity, then, if it allows you to, I'd recommend changing that to "QuoteNumber" to line up with what you're actually seeking. When naming things while developing, an easy way to avoid mistaken references is to be as descriptive as possible while remaining succinct.  Did removing the in-event query and changing it to a separate "Filter Array" step have any effect on it?
