I want my users to be able to download files that are stored on data verse tables while using my power app. As it currently sits, they can upload files and store them in the data verse table, this works fine. But when they go to download a copy of the file it shows this error:
Did some digging and found out that in order for the users to download files from data verse they had to have access to the environment and have that environment selected in power apps for this function to work. My users do not have access to this environment so this is not a viable solution.
I built a work around that runs a power automate flow that retrieves the file from data verse using my credentials and sends to them in an email attachment, but this is not Ideal.
Is there a different solution / setting that will allow my users to download copies of these files directly onto their computer?
No, users must have some form of license to Dataverse to connect and access data whether its columns (non files) or file data.
If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others
Cheers
