Hi There, Is there an ALM process for Dataflows? We have around 40 custom CDS entities that are being updated via Dataflow and would like to replicate the dataflows from lower environments to higher. Is there a way to export and import like for Data connections and Microsoft flow?
Regards,
Kunal
Hi @KunalKochhar1 ,
Do you want to pass dataflows across different environments?
I'm afraid it's not supported in PowerApps now.
The dataflow could only be used in the environment that it is created.
I suggest you express your views about adding the function of exporting/importing dataflow on PowerApps Ideas Forum. Your precious feedback will be very helpful for our work.

You could consider export and import CDS entities or solutions.
These two could pass across environments.
Here are docs about how to export and import CDS entities or solutions for your reference:

Hi @v-yutliu-msft
I want to package some Entities, Apps etc., into a Solution and export it to another environment. Is there a way to export the data contained in these entities also?
Thanks.
Hi @CNT,
No, data cannot be exported with a solution. Use can use the Configuration Migration Tool that comes with the SDK. More on the Config Migration tool: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-configuration-data
For a more DevOps process, you can prepare a deployment package with Package Deployer and import data with the package. More on package deployer:
Hope this helps!
Thanks @EricRegnier
Is there any way to use PowerQuery for this?
Yep you can with Dataflows using the OData connector type. However if you're just moving reference or master data with no a lot of records (<50k), the configuration migration tool might be better. The config migration tool also automatically detects dependencies between different records types (i.e. entities). Otherwise Dataflows can be a good option as well, but note though Dataflows always insert records as opposed to updates or upserts...
Dataflows can be imported into a solution now. No field mappings though
Hi @KunalKochhar1
Without Field Mappings how will the DataFlow run in the new Environment?
