Our Sharepoint administrator has turned off Modern (List) View, can you point me to some guides which shows a guide on how to work with PowerApps using the classic list view?
It should have been easier if I have the modern view where I just click on the PowerApps button to work on the current list.

Sorry to hear that.
For SharePoint classic View, there is no PowerApps tab available.
To generate an App with a SharePoint list, we could start it within PowerApps, follow the article below:
