Sending attachments to a sharepoint list via canvas app

Hello all!

Not sure if this has been answered or not, but I have a canvas app - reiterating a canvas app, not a forms app - and I want to find some way to have an end user attach a document(s) long with their submission.  I'm currently using a patch function to send data from about 5-6 fields to a sharepoint list.  Does anyone have any insight into how to do this?  I am not using dataverse and I want to send the files TO sharepoint, not get them FROM sharepoint.  I also watched a video where someone was using a camera function to do this, but they had a sharepoint form and I do not have that.  Any insight would be appreciated - thank you!

Firstly, I need to be clear on exactly what your process is, but it appears you want to send some data fields to a SharePoint List and also have the user select a file attachment for this record.
The simplist and by far easier way is to use a Form with all the fields and an attachment control., then submit the Form. There are however a number of other options, but all will involve an attachment control (the only way you are going to have the user upload a file), either on a Form or copied from one.
Before I comment further, can you please confirm that this is what you are trying to do.

You need to create a canvas app with the form control (Edit Form) where the data source is Microsoft SharePoint list.

What you want is, There are some field and attachment control, you need to patch the fields along with the attachment is that end expectation.

There is one article  by @matthewdevaney, specially for the sharepoint as backend, with sharepoint having multiple column type ( Single Line of Text, Multiple, Date, Person etc.,) this will cover how to patch all column accordingly.

Thank you all for responding.  I was quickly put on another project and havent had time to come back to this yet, but I will review it hopefully in the next week or so.
