Hello! I am creating an App in Power Apps. The app has a lot of restrictions where I work, so what I did was the following:

1. I created a SharePoint List Online with some columns

2. I selected Integrate>Power Apps>Customize form.

3. A Power App canvas is displayed with the columns previously created.

4. I personalize the canvas

Now, I have a label in Power Apps where I need to write automatically the name of the person who created the SharePoint Item, which it is also a column in my SharePoint List called Created By (this one was created automatically in my list).

I don't know how to set the name in my App and that the name always appears and doesn't change when someone else is editing.

I hope you can help me.

    Here are the steps to achieve this:

    1. Open your Power Apps canvas.

    2. Select the label where you want to display the creator's name.

    3. In the "Text" property of the label, use the following formula to display the name of the person who created the SharePoint item:

    If(Form.Mode = FormMode.Edit, ThisItem.'Created By', User().FullName)

    Mark as solution if this solves your issue. Give this reply a thumbs up. Thanks

    My bad. Try this:

    If(Form.Mode = FormMode.Edit, ThisItem.'Created By'.'Full Name', User().FullName)

    or:

    If(Form.Mode = FormMode.Edit, ThisItem.'Created By'.'Display Name', User().FullName)

    Replace "Form" with your form name
