How to archive/backup all the data from dataverse

We have tenant that we don't want to continue to use. But we want to backup all the data from the dataverse so that in future if we want to go live again we can use that backup. Is there a possibility to backup or archive Dataverse?

Thanks in advance

    Hi @summitb,

    With the out-of-the-box methods, before we could have done it with the Export Data Service , but this is now deprecated and the "new" method is with Azure Synapse Link. More info on that: https://docs.microsoft.com/powerapps/maker/data-platform/export-to-data-lake

    Hope this helps!

    @summitb ,

    If you are removing a tenant there is no point of taking a backup of an environment. Once you have taken backup that needs to be restore in a environment which belongs to the same tenant. Retention period is 28 days for production environment and for sandbox it will be 7 days. If you want to move your data, it is possible only through data migration. There are tools which are available to use like, OOB exportdata to excel, data flows or data migration tool etc.

    I hope it answers your question. Kindly give kudo and accept it as solution.

    Regards,

    Prakash
