Copilot Agent on Portal - "Taking longer than usual to connect."

Hi! I'm new to setting up the Copilot Agent for Power Pages.

I've created an agent
Added instructions
Published the Agent

The chat bot icon already appeared on my portal, and displayed the chat window. However, when I try to initiate to type on the chat bot window, I keep getting the message "Taking longer than usual to connect."

Any ideas?

Hi @MRVIX

Can you please provide more details about what your agent does onstart, as well as what the Topics are and what they do, your knowledge basis.

Also, can you go look in the Activity tab to see what its doing (if anything) so we can see where its stuck (possibly)

Hi Michael E. Gernaey! thank you for taking time to respond and help me. Actually, I haven't setup anything yet aside from enabling the agent to the portal...I thought it'll work with the basic ootb topics.

Hi @MRVIX

Technically it should, but when the conversation starts or attempts too, I do not know what it is doing just based on that picture. That is where the issue appears to be.

it could be anything from authenticating, to loading knowledge to heck a set of other things that either you may or may not have control over. Its hard to debug with that information I am afraid.
