I am trying to get this flow to work, I do not know exactly what I am doing but need some helping hand if this is possible.  Basicaly, I want to use GPT to read CVs to get me a numerical YOE.  I just cant get it to work.  Has someone tried to do this and got it to work? If so can you please provide a sample flow...usually the CVs are PDFs so if I can get this to work, I can use it in my compensation analysis proces...would be really awesome!

    Hi @wherdzik ,

Can you show how your prompt looks like?

    Hi @wherdzik ,

I recommend you create a variable out of the lines from the "Recognize text in an image or PDF" action and use this variable content in your prompt instead of the "Text" variable (which contains a lot of very technical information).

You can get inspired by this template: https://make.powerautomate.com/galleries/public/templates/e22de127ca584cf6b4444bec1d81d36d/extract-information-from-documents-using-gpt

Thank you for that.  I created a prompt and got it to work one time and now its telling me.  "Sorry, I cant respond to that request.  I re-entered the same CV and it gave me that response.  The first time it did it, it was awesome!

Maybe because I have a trial license? Not sure.

Too bad I cannot make this work. It is a very cool use case 😞

Maybe someone can help with this? or provide additional advise?

It might be that your prompt is being misunderstood by GPT or blocked by the backend filtering service for some reason. Do you also get this message if you change a it your prompt of if you send a different resume?

It is odd that an hour before I passed the same CV and it read it beautifully but then an hour later it gave me this message.  When you say blackened filtering, are you saying IT is blocking it?  How do I check this?

Yes I get the same message with any PDF CV I send. It is very odd that it happened all of a sudden when nothing has changed.

I even resubmitted the flow that did it correctly and when I resubmitted, it came back with that message.  So definitely something is being blocked or filtered or its my trial license. not sure.  too bad I really wanted to see if I could show a good use case of this model.

I even went into the test environment and gave it something simple and still no go.

You could also try this OCR GPT template that compiles all the OCR text & replicates the text spacing in the document:
