Portal access issue. Do we have an option to provide access based on web roles in portal

Hi,

I have tried with multiple experiments by creating web roles, page access & contacts setting in Portal management.

I have failed to provide the access base on the user web roles. It is giving access for every user who are loging In to the portal.

I want few should have access for page 1 & few should have access for page 2 based on there login email id's.

Is there any way to fix this issue

Please help me to resolve this issue.
