Cant import virtual table & error: "msdyn_get_required_fields"

Hi all,

I followed this video precisely to import virtual tables into my environment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KJdBe3BkM4

I have tried numerous times to import these virtual tables.

However when i go to my entity catalog (3:00 in video) it says "Something went wrong" and doesnt show any information:

Then if i try to manually add a virtual table (by going to tables > new table > new table from external data) and configure the right settings I get the following message: "msdyn_get_required_fields"

The strange thing is that I did exactly the same thing in another environment and everything works perfectly there.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or what this error means? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Bob13 , does your account have a Business Central License. We get this error if the license is taken of the account.

Also did you set the virtual table to visible. You have to do this table by table, because when setting multiple tables to visible at the same time will always result in errors.

Hi @FlorisVdZ , Thank you for your response but I dont think that this is a licensing issue. I have tried to import the virtual tables as they do in the video in to multiple environments and this environment is the only one where this issue appeared.
