How to display an uploaded PDF Knowledge document from the citation link

I am using pdf documents as a knowledge source. They are uploaded to dataverse and are ready to use. I ask copilot a question and answers are provided. The PDF file is provided as a citation. But when I click the citation link, the text of the pdf is displayed - I would like for the actual pdf to be opened/displayed to the user. The reason why is because those pdf documents may include schematics or photos which would give additional context.
Is this possible at all using copilot? Or am I just using the wrong storage location?

    Copilot currently behaves differently based on the type of Knowledge Source.
     
    Let us understand those.
     
    When you have the documents uploaded in the Dataverse directly,
    The Citations will be shown as Popup as you mention in your question.
     (But there are some ways to Customize this.)
     
     
     
    When you have the documents inside SharePoint,
    If Word Document -> It gets downloaded directly when you click on citations.
     
     
    If PDF -> It will Open the document in a new Tab.
