enquiry Regarding Feasibility of Implementing Power App for Catering Orders

I'd like to develop a Power App to address a specific problem I haven't been able to solve using other methods. It seems that Power Apps might be the ideal solution for this task.

The problem revolves around an order form that currently resides on Microsoft Forms. This order form includes various fields such as:

  1. Date for Catering
  2. Time for Catering
  3. Venue/Room Number
  4. Number of Guests
  5. Food Options

I require a system where the inputted data can be easily accessed by the caterers in real-time so they can prepare orders efficiently. Additionally, the catering manager needs to calculate the total cost for each order, which is determined by the selected food items divided by the total amount of food ordered. The food costs are as follows:

Is it feasible to accomplish this using Power Apps?

    Hi @AB21 ,

The thing is PowerApps cannot connect to MS Forms directly. Data that submitted in MS Form is not tabular. So, you will need to use a Power Automate flow, save all submitted data into a table, such as SharePoint list or Excel. Then you can create an App and use the list or Excel table as data source.

    Best regards,

Hi @AB21 , Yes this is possible. There are couple of use cases that you can refer to. Please check below links:
