Any way to make this formula work? It gives me "false" because I already have a similar condition for that label.

Hi @Da9,
The point is that expression if() || if() will return a boolean value.
You can replace the expression with:
If(Subtitle2.text = "Rejected" || subtitle2_1.text = "Rejected","N/A",ThisItem.'BC Level Approval')
