Including screenshot of a dashboard that shows 2 years of historical billing, current year, pending, and forecast. This is connected to a gallery so when a client is selected the forms all update (2022, 2023, 2024, pending, forecast). When a client who billed last year hasn't yet billed this year, and hence no data, I get the "no item to display". I've searched and found fixes such as making default mode new or adding a button, but neither is workable. "New" even zeros out current year billing for active clients.
Is there a way to show those fields with $0's in power apps instead of 'no item to display'? Thanks for any help or direction!
Thanks Nick. I haven't played with collections yet, and currently I'm pulling from multiple sources for the historical billing.
So for now I've just created a flow to 'create items' in my current year sharepoint list with 0s so every client will have something show up. So far it's working. As I learn, I'm 'fixing' my complicated noob workarounds, and collections are on my to-do list!
Thanks again for your input!
Create a local collection from the current date back two years, then match billing history, if no match, add $0 to the record, if there is a match show the matched billed value. you could place the collection either in the on visible, or upon selection of the client.
