Not too long ago, I was watching a Reza Dorani video (I think most of us here know who he is), and I distinctly remember him saying that the Patch() function could only be used a certain amount of times per day. I believe it was somewhere around 40,000 per organization or 2,000 per user, I don't really remember the exact number (or if I even heard correctly to be honest).
I didn't pay much attention back then since I was just starting to learn how to build Power Apps. However, now that I have a handful of Apps running, and I'm using patch to edit all my data sources, that warning is now haunting me.
Maybe I didn't hear correctly back then, or I misunderstood what he was saying. Thankfully, most of the things I know today are because of him.
I would appreciate if someone could confirm or debunk my claims.
