Error when trying to import a solution

Hi!

I'm trying to export a solution from a dev environment and importing to preproduction environment.

Exporting works just fine but when importing to preproduction env, I get this error.

The only objects I have 10 in my solution are connections references.

The connections I have works just fine in the current solution, but I have just seen this column status and I don't know if this is a problem. I also cannot (or I don't know how) set them On.

Is there any step I'm missing?

This error happens also when trying to use a pipeline I've just created.

Thnks in advance.

Cheers!

I have the same question (0)

    @lorodo

By default the connection references status is Turn Off.

Are you getting the connections loaded when you import the solution in Prod?

Do you have system customer or system admin permissions in Prod?

    Hi @Velegandla

First of all, thanks for your response.

I don't understand your first question.

The answer to the second question is than the user I'm using to deploy is propietary of both of the environments.

I can create solutions, apps, flows, connections, custom connectors, etc.

Let me know if you need more info.

    Thnx in advance!

    Cheers!

    P.S.:

I have just connected with you in LinkedIn! 🙂

@lorodo I suspect you have at least Connection Reference in this solution which has a dependency on a Custom Connector and this Custom Connector does not exist in your target environment.

I would suggest creating a new solution in your source environment, add in just the Custom Connector to it, export it as managed and then import this into your target environment first. Then retry importing this solution afterwards

    Hi @parvezghumra

I have a custom connector indeed.

But i've previuosly imported it to the target environment.

I've tryed what you suggested to create a solution, export it as managed and importing and the error keeps been the same.

    It says:

    Anything more I can try?

I'm beggining to think that I need to remake the whole solution in the target environment and then try to import it to the source and create a pipeline to make things easier.

This project was created by another team not present in the company right now and I don't know if there's some configuration I'm missing.

    Thnx in advance!

    Cheers!

@lorodo So can you confirm that the Custom Connector already exists in a managed state in the target  environment following a managed solution installation? If this is is the case, you try to remove the Custom Connector from this solution and re-export it as managed and try to import that into the target again.

If this doesn't work, it might be worth checking licenses. I believe Custom Connectors require a premium license but I don't have much experience with licensing so can't advise much further on this. Other than that, I would suggest raising a support request with Microsoft.
