Is there a way to copy an entity without the data? I want to create a new entity with identical fields to my original entity.
There's no direct way to do this. Your best option is to use the Clone Field Definitions tool within Xrm Toolbox
This will do most field types, but I don't think it does Customer Lookups, and I don't know if it can clone calculated or rollup fields
I also made the mistake of using a bunch of local option sets instead of global. That's going to hurt. Live and learn I suppose.
You may be able to use Daryl LaBar's XrmToolboxTools to convert local to global option sets. From the description it's still in Beta, so you're best off spinning up a new environment to test it in
