Hi Team,

1) Can you tell me the migration procedure for model driven apps which were created by user from one tenant to another tenant?

2) There are some model driven apps like,

Customer Service Hub,
Dynamics 365 App for Outlook,
Dynamics 365 Mobile – custom,
Sales Team Member,
Solution Health Hub
(These apps having System as owner)
How can we migrate or generate those apps in target environment?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    1) Well moving apps between environments is straight forward: just create a solution that will contain all necessary components for the app: the app itself, sitemap, all used entities (if you are planning to deploy to environment that doesn't have those; if you have entities on target environment you can just add necessary changes to the solution), webresources etc. Basically standard procedure of moving solutions between environment.

    2) The apps you are mentioning are proprietary apps provided by MS so you cannot just move them to the environment they weren't present before. To install apps you need to go to the admin center (admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com), select the necessary environment, select Dynamics 365 app. There you can manage your existing apps (ie installing updates) and install a new app. Just hit Install app and select app you want to install from the list. If you cannot see the necessary app in the list it might be that you don't have a proper license/environment to install it. After you have your app installed you can modify it sitemap and app content and move between environments without any issues.
