Column formula to display last related record field

Hey there, folks!

I'm working with a "Projects" table that links to "Billing Items" and "Activities" tables. What I'd like to do is add a new column that shows the "Invoice Price" of the most recent "Billing Item" where the activity is tagged as "Storage".

Is it possible to achieve this using a column formula?

That is not supported at the moment. You can only access Many:1 relation tables. You cannot access 1:Many relation tables. In my scenario, I cannot access opportunity products from my opportunity table.

You can try using following:

Power automate flow that updates the column based on your condition.

Low code plugin via Dataverse Accelerator https://appsource.microsoft.com/en/product/dynamics-365/microsoftpowercatarch.dataversekit1?tab=overview

You can use JS to populate that column on form onload or onsave context.
