I am requesting some advice from the community. I have a PVA flow which gets a row from an excel file. It searches for CPT codes but when I tested it out for this code G2211. I inadvertently used a lower case "g" and entered in g2211. It gave me an error which means that it is case sensitive. Is there a way to do an approximate search? or some sort of a better search? Can someone help me to resolve this? I am still fairly new so please provide a more detailed response so I can learn.
Thank you.
Search example : g2211
Search with upper G: G2211
To avoid errors due to capitalization, you can use "toUpper" in Power Automate, but you should probably add exception handling, so your copilot users get clearer instructions, and not a "raw" error from Power Automate.
just realized that this wont work as the input could be numeric only such as 99215 or alpha numeric g2211. Sorry but can you offer a different way of accomplishing this?
Maybe create a regex based entity? This will at least guarantee the values your users provide are in adherence with the expected format.
It will not, however, guarantee that the values are found in your spreadsheet - you will have to catch that case in Power Automate and send back a friendlier response.
