Application dosen't load on iPhone App

Hey PowerApps Users,

I'm currently facing a weird issue.

I have the last version of Power Apps in my Iphone :

When i try to open an app, the application keep loading and nothing happen ..

It is only happening with the Iphone, there is no problem with Samsung's or Nokia's Phones ..

(FYI, I've tested my internet connection, the SharePoint links are also working correctly).

Do you mean the PowerApps mobile under Iphone would hang when opening App from the App list?

Have you tried to sign out and sign in again?

Also, please verify your IOS version, make sure the version is at least IOS 10.3.2.

Further, take a try to uninstall and then reinstall PowerApps Mobile under your iphone, see if that could help.

Unfortunately I’ve tried all of this ... I have an Iphone 7 with the last updates.

The two things are :

This issue appears just after I've installed the latest update of PowerApps ..

And I can open normally others PowerApps applications ..

Try replacing the icon of the app with one of the default icons. This bug is fixed in v650, but for now switch to a default icon.

Hi there! The same is happening to me. When loading the app (4 dots with logo) after some seconds of loading a white screen appears and powerapps restarts (powerapps logo as the same as when you open the app and then its menu).

This just started to happen after the latest update (and after some more screens added). I don't believe it is concerned with the alterations I made to my app as the screens added where just the same (with the same code) as some previous I already had.

This app when saved locally produces a file of 1,4MB wich I don't believe is that much. Other apps I have created (mostly for testing purposes) work and open fine.

Already tried to change icon, delete app, reboot iPhone, reinstall app and it opened the first time, but then got back to the same.

What could be the problem?

I'm using iPhone 7 with iOS 10.2 and iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3.3 (the latest)

Firther testing have been made and it really is a problem withe powerapps! I have tested the exact same app that was crashing on both iphones 7 states before, on another iphone that has not made the update to powerapps v2.0.680, but remained on the previous bersion and the app works flawlessly. So there are evident problems with powerapps and not users apps!

I do have issue on my application doesn't load on iphone 7plus after upgrade ios 11.2 its load back again normal.

aeMadhavan, I solved my problem by taking my app appart. I had a excel database that rapidly grew over 2MB and such is not acepted by power apps.

So I grabbed on the independent menus I had and separated them into individual apps with individual databases on excel that now don't even reach 1MB. So my individual apps run much faster and without flaws on any of my devices that were previously buggy.

My app will also not load on Iphone. Again its intermittent, and unfortunately just as I have published for the wider team for use.

I am just looking endlessly at at the dots saying 'opening'. It doesn't.

I made sure to use a template app icon, but why this would have any affect is beyond me.
I also have have SaveData/LoadData functions OnStart, which I read can affect the WebApp, though without this functionality why bother at all.

I have the latest version of iOS (11.3.1) and PowerApps on my phone to date.

Why is powerapps so unreliable and unstable? Its so disapointing, and I've spent months trying to hurdle over improbable walls of wierdness while endless curveballs are thrown at me, only to land in yet another puddle of mud.

So, I have uninstalled and reinstalled PowerApps on my phone which has resolved the issue. I shouldn't have to though and neither should my users.

Is there any more durable solution from the MS end?

I had the following 2 iPhone issues:

App would not load
Combobox was empty
They were both fixed when I upgraded iOS. Seriously. I could not for the life of me open a certain app. If just said "opening..." for ever. Before I had this error, I had a combobox in my app that was empty of options.

I updated today to iOS v 11.4 and all problems went away.
