Power Virtual Agent Bot migration/move to another Team

Posted on by 9

Hello!

I am working on a project at our company where we are testing Power Virtual Agent chatbots and so far it looks really promising. The chatbot I am working on was created on a "Test" Team and I have so far created six different Topics.

However before we spend any more time on this, we need to find out if this Chatbot can be migrated to another existing Team? This way I can continue building the content of this bot and know for sure that we can migrate it to the Team it will live in permanently down the road.

I've searched online and through PVA's documentation, but it does not specify if this is possible or not. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or am I better off stopping work on this test Team and instead create the bot where it will live permanently?

Seems to me this should be a basic feature as I can think of other scenarios where a move to a different team might be necessary (for example; after a re-org).

Thanks in advance to the experts on here 🙂

Thank you for the quick response Renato. Good thing we checked this now, so I will heed your advise and move this to our permanent Team 🙂

    Hi @raulcanvel ,

Great to hear about the Power Virtual Agents implementation in a Production environment! 🙂

Today, it's not possible to migrate the chatbots developed by PVA for Teams between environments and teams, but Microsoft already is reviewing this idea.

I recommend you to develop in a production team.
