Open another app from Canvas App?

Is there any way to press a button in my canvas app to switch to another app on my phone?

This is a common practice when it comes to ios/android apps.

In canvas apps we have the function Lanuch - but that function is just to open other websites or canvas apps.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello @Kran,

This can be done by combining the Launch function with universal link such: https://web.powerapps.com/apps/[AppID]

You can "force Launch" an app on a mobile device with the Launch function and

ms-apps:///providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apps/

instead of

https://apps.powerapps.com/play/

in the URL

Sorry I was unclear.

I don´t want to open another canvas app. I want to open/switch to a non-canvas app on my phone.

No - not possible presently - the app cannot "see" any other app on the device and as you have noted Launch only opens URLs.
