Containers Scrolling with Form

Hi All,

I am working on a custom app in Power Apps that was created from a SharePoint list via the Integrate option. The app includes a form (InternalForm) that already has a scroll bar and scrolls fine. I have added a new container (Container4) with additional fields from the form to close some gaps. Now, I need the container to scroll along with the existing form, without adding a separate scroll bar for the container. I have tried lots of things and cannot get it to work.

I have tried adding the container to the InternalForm, but it doesn't become a child of the form. Instead, it becomes a child of the parent FormScreen. How can I ensure that the Container scrolls together with the InternalForm when the scroll bar is moved up and down?

    Hi,

So it can be a serious pain to cut paste into a container. It just hates doing it, but it does work.

its super important to go slow.

First, make a copy of your screen (duplicate it)
Now select the item you want to cut and cut it
Now select the container. here is where it gets silly. When you first try you THINK  you did it, but in fact you didn't.. yeap  you didn't. so when you paste it goes into the form.

When you select it, verify that the container is selected (it won't be , not really). Select it again and make sure to try to do it by clicking on the Edges of the container or hover over it, unti you see the MOVE icon change, then click that, then paste it.

It will work. Its a pain sometimes, but it will. Dragging and dropping it via the Tree doesn't work really.

My suggestion for Clone/duplicating the screen is 2 part

    1) so you dont mess up your screen
    2) so you can practive.

It will work. I've had the same issue over and over and over, with containers or galleries etc.

    Thanks for your help Mike!

I was able to add items to the Container and even nest Container4 within other containers. However, I'm encountering an issue when trying to add Container4 with the Final Deliverables and Distribution Channels fields as a child of the InternalSubmissionsForm.

Following your instructions, I successfully added Container4 to other containers in the app, but I can't seem to add it to the form. And, yes, it is very frustrating, and I don't understand why changing the parent of an item is so complicated in Power Apps.
