As you rightfull commented, this is related to multiple people working on the same app, but with different browser language settings. Depending on the language settings, a comma or a semicolon is used to separate arguments and a single or double semicolons are used for chaining functions.
In case multiple people are editing the application, it sometimes happens that the wrong syntax stick, leading to errors in the formulas. In case you are using a formula for, for instance, a fill property, instead of seeing the color on the screen that you were hoping for, you'll see black. This is what could explain what you are viewing.
To resolve this, try to edit the application and set the browser language settings to match the syntax you are seeing. If this does not resolve the errors, try clearing the browser cache and restarting the browser.
After resolving the issue, I suggest youtell people to align on using a single broswer language setting to prevent this from happening again in the future.
